PARADE NEWS BRIEF

Registrations are now being accepted for the Scandinavian Festival Parade.

Mike Malcom, the parade chairman is hoping that this year the parade will contribute to both participants and spectators understanding their heritage better.

To sign up, call Malcom at 435-364-0099, with the following: Your theme or idea, whether you will be walking or riding (float, car, etc., and if car, type of vehicle). Also have a short paragraph about your entry ready on parade day to be read by the announcer.

Parade entries will line up on 300 South east of Main Street beginning about 9 a.m. on Saturday. At 10 a.m., the parade will proceed down Main Street to College Avenue.
